Inventory & load-outs
Know what's in the truck before the truck leaves.
The paper packet in case 3 knows what's supposed to be in there — not what's actually in there, and it can't tell the office the mics are damaged.

Case #12 — load-in check
Scanned at the dock · tap each item — try it
Restock & repair queue
Derived from the counts — nobody writes this list
Nothing yet — keep tapping
- Runs on the phone already in every crew pocket
- Labels scan through road scuffs
- Built by people who ran load-outs from clipboards
How it works
From numbered cases to a queue that keeps itself.
Number cases, print labels
QR labels from your browser — plain paper, cut and tape.
Scan to load out
The label opens that case's checklist on any phone.
Scan again to load in
Counts and conditions land in the registry, signed with a name.
Work the queue
Low, damaged, or missing shows up the moment it's recorded.
QR load-outs
The label is the app. Scan it, work it, sign it.
A check session is the paper packet, digitized: one case, one checklist, run from a phone at the dock.
- One open session per case — two scanners join the same checklist
- Tap to check, adjust counts, flag condition, leave a note
- Flags roll into one summary for the office — not four texts
0
stored queues to go stale
The restock list isn't kept anywhere — it's computed from every manifest each time you look. A count dips below its threshold and the entry exists; restock it and it's gone.
Missing first, then damaged, then the deepest shortfalls — with exactly how many to buy.
Getting your gear in
Your packing lists already wrote the manifests.
Drop the spreadsheet you already keep — one sheet per case, compartment headings, even a prose checklist — and review what it read before anything saves.
- Existing cases matched by name; new ones numbered automatically
- Every extracted cell is editable in the review
- It never invents data — a blank in your document stays blank
Pick → Review → Done
The importer shows what it read — case by case, row by row — and only writes what survives your review. Items with no case land in the unassigned pool, where they still count toward restocking.
Built in the open
Built for docks, not demos.
~30%
label damage the QR survives
A label that stops scanning is a clipboard again — so they're printed tough.
1
open session per case
Enforced in the database. Two people scanning join the same checklist.
0
stored queues to go stale
Replenishment is computed on every read. It can't drift from reality.
Facts about how the product is built — we'd rather show the engineering than invent a testimonial.
Fair questions
The clipboard questions, answered.
- Do we need scanners or label hardware?
- No. Labels print from the browser onto plain paper. Scanning is any phone camera — the QR is a link that opens the case's checklist.
- Our clipboard system basically works. Why change?
- The clipboard fails silently: you find out about the missing mic when you need the mic. Here the flag reaches the office the moment it's raised.
- Will the crew mess up our inventory data?
- They can't. From a scan, staff can adjust counts and conditions — that's it. Renaming, pack sizes, and moving gear stay with the office, enforced in the database.
- Can we start mid-season?
- Yes — import one packing list, print the labels, run one load-out. Nothing requires the whole warehouse first.

Run one load-out on it and see what gets flagged.
